Booking & Availability
How far in advance should I book dhol players?
We recommend booking at least 3 to 6 months in advance, especially for peak wedding season between April and October. We do accommodate shorter notice bookings when availability allows — contact us and we will confirm availability for your date.
Do you cover events outside London?
Yes. We provide professional dhol players and Band Baja across the whole of the UK, including all major cities and counties. From Manchester and Birmingham to Bristol, Brighton, and beyond — we travel to your venue.
Can I book you for multiple events on the same day?
Yes, we have multiple teams available. If you need dhol players for a morning baraat and an evening reception, or events at different venues, let us know and we will arrange separate teams for each.
What is required to confirm a booking?
A booking is confirmed with a deposit, followed by a signed booking agreement. The remaining balance is due closer to the event date. We will send you a full breakdown of terms when you receive your quote.

What events do you perform at?
We perform at wedding baraats and bride arrivals, mehndi and sangeet nights, birthday parties and anniversaries, corporate events and brand launches, religious celebrations, and outdoor festivals. If you have a specific event in mind, get in touch.
How long do performances typically last?
A standard baraat performance lasts between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on the procession route and your schedule. We also offer shorter flash performances and longer event coverage. We tailor performance length to your event timeline.
Can dhol players perform indoors?
Yes, we perform both indoors and outdoors. For indoor venues, we adjust volume and positioning to suit the space. We work with your venue coordinator to ensure the performance works within any sound restrictions.
What is Band Baja and how does it differ from dhol only?
Band Baja is a traditional Punjabi processional ensemble that combines dhol drums with brass instruments such as trumpets, trombones, and clarinets. It creates a fuller, louder sound ideal for large outdoor baraats. Dhol only is more focused and suits a wide range of venue types.
Can you play specific songs or take requests?
Yes. We are happy to include specific Punjabi tracks, Bollywood songs, or requests in our set. Discuss any preferences with us at the time of booking and we will do our best to accommodate them.
Logistics
What do the dhol players wear?
Our dhol players perform in traditional Punjabi attire including turbans and kurtas. If you have specific colour preferences or a theme, let us know and we will do our best to coordinate.
Do you need a soundcheck or rehearsal?
We do not require a formal rehearsal. Our performers are experienced professionals who adapt to any venue. We do recommend briefing us on the running order and any specific timing requirements before the event.
What happens if there is a last-minute change to timings?
We are flexible and experienced with the natural flow of Asian events. We build buffer time into our schedule and stay in contact with your coordinator on the day to accommodate any changes.
Do you work alongside other performers or DJs?
Yes. We regularly work alongside DJs, bhangra dancers, and live musicians. We coordinate with all other performers to ensure smooth transitions and the best overall experience for your guests.
