Professional Dhol Players in Handsworth
Dhol Bookings We Cover in Handsworth
Handsworth is one of the centres of Punjabi life in Birmingham, and Soho Road on a wedding Saturday shows it. Families here tend to know exactly what they want from a dhol player: a strong start at the house, the right respect around the gurdwara, and real energy once the reception begins. We keep those parts separate in our planning so each one gets the right tone. Our players have performed at Sikh weddings across Birmingham and are comfortable taking direction from your family on the day.
What We Cover
- Baraat processions from the groom's home
- Milni and doli moments outside the gurdwara
- Jaggo and Mehndi nights
- Reception entrances and bhangra sets
- Vaisakhi and Lohri celebrations
- Engagements and Shagun ceremonies

Why We Know Handsworth Events
Years of performing across Handsworth means we arrive knowing the venues, the community, and what it takes to deliver on the day.
Check Availability- 1
The Guru Nanak Gurdwara on Soho Road is one of the busiest in the city for Anand Karaj ceremonies. We stop playing at the agreed point before the gurdwara and pick up again once the family is ready to leave.
- 2
Jaggo nights are still a big part of Handsworth weddings. We play alongside the jaggo pot procession and keep the rhythm going for the boliyan and giddha.
- 3
Handsworth Park is a popular spot for wedding photographs. If you want the dhol in your photos, we can meet your photographer there between the ceremony and the reception.
